Brief Introducation

Medical Doctor, Specialist in Neurosurgery. Graduated in 2004, University of Trieste, Italy. Degree in Neurosurgery in 2010, University of Padua, Italy. PhD degree in Robotics Brain and cognitive Function Italian Institute of Technology, University of Genoa, Italy, in 2014. Medical Doctor at ASUFC from 2013 to 2025, with a managerial role in oncological neurosurgery since 2023, expertise in "awake" surgery, brain mapping, intraoperative neurophysiological monitoring, intraoperative ultrasound, and use of 5-ALA (Gliolan Trainer certified by Prof. W. Stummer). RTT in Neurosurgery at the University of Padua, Italy (Director Professor L. Denaro) from February 2025 to present. Extensive surgical experience in glioma and meningioma surgery,intremedullary tumors including intraoperative neurophysiological mapping and monitoring techniques. Member of SINch, EANS, AINO, EANO, EORTC. Member of the AINO Board from November 2017 to present. Coordinator of SINch Neuro-Oncology Section from October 2020 to October 2024. Member of the SINch board from October 2024 to present. Second Level Professor National Qualification (MIUR1532/2016, 06/E3 31.10.18). First Level Professor National Qualification (Ministerial Decree n. 1796/2023) for the disciplinary field of 06/E3 - Neurosurgery and maxillofacial surgery.
